Meet some of the people who are important to the smooth running of Studio G Photography. All of these people come highly recommended by us.
Sharon Ball – Principal Make-up Artist
Sharon has been a make-up artist for 5 years and a further education tutor and assessor for the past 2 years. Within the 5 years as an artist she was at MAC for 3 of those years, attended Val Garland’s School of make-up and continued to maintain links with artists and industry whilst teaching. She wandered in to an open day at Studio G just under a year ago and has been a vital member of the team ever since. She understands the way we work instinctively and contributes some excellent creative ideas.
Sharon says: “I have a belief in the customer experience and care is paramount to maintain and develop a brand/businesses’ integrity and ensure repeat and new clients. I feel there is a lack of good customer experience and want to offer and deliver excellent experience to all who come to Black and Blue. Ensuring that the make-up they want is the make-up that is applied.
“During my time with MAC I completed a number of training courses, including MAC basic training, MAC make up in 30, MAC make up in 60, MAC lesson application. During the summer of 2015 I completed the Mastered programme under the auspices of the Val Garland School of Make-up, for which I undertook make-up briefs set by i:D magazine, NARS, Matthew Williamson and Vivienne Westwood.
“My interests revolve around films and theatre, this is where I developed an interest of make up as I adore SFX and the ability to see characters develop and grow through the support of make-up. I love what I do and feel it is a hobby as well as a job.
“Through my own company, Black and Blue Make-up, I have many opportunities to support and introduce people to make up who previously didn’t feel confident or wanted to develop their skills within make up to empower them.”
Natale Cristina Rea – Head Model
Natale first came to Studio G in the late summer of 2015 to model for a creative photographic brief for designer Matthew Williamson. She fitted into the team like she had always known us and has been our model of choice ever since. Natale is smart, creative and ultra-professional. She is always on time and trusts us to do whatever we like with her, even when that means bleaching her eyebrows. She is professional and patient with groups of sometimes inexperienced photographers when we have camera clubs in the studio. Natale is a vital part of the Studio G creative team and is now leading the planning of her own styled photoshoots. She also regularly turns up with home baking for everyone.
Ellesia Hilton – Choreographer and Entertainer
Aspiring performer Ellesia is Studio G’s triple threat. She can dance, she can sing and she can act. She is also the best “Snow Queen” we have ever seen. On top of all that she is amazing with children. She helps to make sure that Studio G’s Pamper and Pose parties run smoothly by keeping the girls entertained. She choreographs dance routines for our Pop Diva Girl Band parties, helps out with hair styling, make-up and catering and is bursting with enthusiasm and ideas. in addition to working for Studio G Photography she has her own company, Frozen Fantasy.
Kaylie Wright – Choreographer
Multi-talented Kaylie runs her own dance school, Ultimate Dance, in Shaw, when she is not choreographing Pop Diva parties for us. Kaylie can play the role of several princesses, is a charming children’s entertainer and can also turn her hand to hair and makeup when needed.
